Rolls-Royce’s new facility at Heathrow

BCAL provided CDM services to SEGRO for Rolls-Royce’s new facility at Heathrow. The project consisted of the construction of a 95,000 sq ft facility, consisting of two units. These incorporated a state-of-the-art engine workshop and eleven build-up bays for the assessment and maintenance of engines, together with two ‘hospital’ bays for more detailed inspections. It also provides storage capacity for up to 36 engines, ready for worldwide despatch to airline operators.
