Extensive knowledge and experience of below ground and surface water drainage and external works/highways design with a keen eye on detail from the outset of any project is a key reason Barry has a proven track record in delivering efficient, buildable and cost-effective solutions. He understands that the key to achieving successful sustainable urban drainage strategies (SuDS) is forging close, collaborative working relationships with the relevant lead local flood authority, client and other members of the design team as early as possible. His technical expertise enables him to react quickly and advise on the relative pros and cons on a variety of potential design options, facilitating a seamless design development process right across the RIBA Work-stages. Particular expertise in planning documentation including FRA, TIA and TP, technical approval of S38, S104, S184 and S278 works and detailed SuDS design/specification.
