Berkhamsted's School £4m new facility commences.

BerkhamstedSchool, Berkhamsted

A Dining / Banqueting Hall within a three-storey high atrium and a Chapel with circular windows form two of the key features of a new £4million Dining and Teaching facility for Berkhamsted School.

As well as providing a dining hall for 300 pupils, the building will provide additional teaching accommodation for the Science and Design Technology departments to meet the needs of the school curriculum.

The school’s aspiration is for a high quality building that maintains and continues to build upon its reputation for academic excellence.

The three-storey building has been designed to link with the existing school buildings and will form an enclosed quadrangle.

Construction is expected to start in March 2010.
