New £5m, 300 bed Outdoor Centre starts on site.

BCAL are delighted to have been appointed as the civil and structural consultant for this prestigious project.

The new 6,000 m² Centre will include:

• Reception / Recreation Area / Training Room – an exciting building to form the core of the new state-of-the-art facilities.
• Dining Room, Kitchen, Meeting Rooms – an attractive pine-clad facility to prepare and enjoy good home cooked food – and space for up to 300 to meet for conferences.
• 6 Bedroom Wings will accommodate 8 groups and up to 300 young people in contemporary rooms with en suite bathrooms including facilities for various kinds of disabilities and special needs. Each wing features its own group lounge with kitchenette.
• Awesome sunset patio with south facing views across a large lake.
• High quality environmentally sustainable buildings.

Activities Include:

• Watersports - Open Canoeing, Kayaking and Sailing will be provided on the sheltered 40-acre lake, only 2 metres at its deepest point.
• Climbing Towers, High Ropes, Low Ropes, Challenge Course – exciting new structures and equipment designed to provide challenge and adventure in a controlled environment.
• Sports Hall / Activity Rooms – indoor Multi-Sports Centre for ball and team games, as well as space for problem-solving and team-building activities.
