470,000 sq ft Warehouse complete

The 473,600 sq ft logistics warehouse, with integral three storey office building, was constructed on a former ironstone quarry.

BCAL’s expertise was instrumental in providing a cost effective solution of engineered cut and fill together with Dynamic Compaction.

The portal framed building contained over 700 tonnes of steel and was the first building to be constructed on the Magnetic Park site.

BCAL’s services included a new roundabout, estate roads, drainage and balancing pond.

Great Bear will use the building to service a contract with Master Foods for the distribution of Mars chocolate products.
